1. Acceptance of Terms
By downloading or using Zone Tick (the app or website), you agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.
2. Description of Service
Zone Tick is a family safety application that provides live location sharing, SOS alerts, crash and scream detection, voice-activated emergency help, inactivity monitoring, geofencing, daily feeling/status check-ins, family messaging, emergency contacts, and related safety tools. Optional Premium plans unlock additional features. The website at zonetick.com provides product information and optional web subscription checkout.
3. Emergency Services Disclaimer
IMPORTANT: Zone Tick is NOT a replacement for traditional emergency services. Always call your local emergency number (000, 911, 999, etc.) directly in life-threatening situations. We cannot guarantee 100% reliability — technology may fail due to network, device, permissions, or other issues. Sensor-based features (crash, scream, inactivity, keywords) may produce false positives or miss events.
4. User Responsibilities
- Provide accurate emergency contact information
- Keep the app updated to receive the latest safety features
- Grant required device permissions (location, notifications, microphone/sensors when using those features)
- Use the service responsibly and lawfully
- Do not misuse emergency features or send false alerts
- Obtain consent before tracking or monitoring another person
- Maintain device battery and network connectivity
5. Subscriptions & Payments
Zone Tick offers Free, Individual Premium, and Family Pack plans. Current list prices (USD, subject to change and regional store pricing):
- Individual Premium — $6.99/month or $49.99/year
- Family Pack — $30/month or $200/year (up to 6 Premium seats)
- Paid plans may include a free trial (for example 1 month) for eligible new subscribers
- Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled before the renewal date
- In-app purchases — billed by Apple App Store or Google Play; cancel in your store account settings; refunds follow store policies
- Website purchases — billed by Stripe using the email you provide at checkout; manage or cancel by contacting support@zonetick.com unless a self-serve portal is provided
- Use the same email as your Zone Tick account for web checkout so Premium can be linked correctly
- Family Pack seats are for people you invite; misuse (reselling seats) is prohibited
- Prices may vary by region and billing channel
6. Advertising
Free accounts may see advertisements (for example via Google AdMob). Premium plans remove ads. Optional rewarded ads may temporarily unlock Premium features as described in the app.
7. Prohibited Uses
You may not use Zone Tick to:
- Send false emergency alerts
- Stalk, harass, or track someone without their consent
- Reverse engineer or attempt to compromise the app or website
- Violate any applicable law or third-party rights
- Abuse trials, refunds, or Family Pack seat sharing
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Zone Tick Pty Ltd provides this service "AS IS" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for service interruptions, emergency alert failures, missed detections, or any damages arising from use of the app or website. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the service in the preceding 12 months.
9. Intellectual Property
All content, code, designs, and trademarks associated with Zone Tick are the exclusive property of Zone Tick Pty Ltd and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
10. Termination
You may delete your account at any time from within the app or via our account deletion page. We may suspend accounts for violations of these terms. Cancelling a subscription does not automatically delete your account.
11. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of Australia. Disputes will be resolved through binding arbitration where permitted by law.
12. Changes to Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the app or website after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
